Description

The Ubiik MimoLink™ Tornado is a long-range, full-duplex remote radio unit designed for point-to-multipoint communication in mission-critical infrastructure networks.

Engineered for ultra-spectral efficiency and software flexibility, it supports scalable data rates and an efficient random access protocol, enabling reliable connectivity to large numbers of remote sites while maintaining very low latency and high network availability.

The device includes a built-in Linux applications engine, enabling edge computing and intelligent network functionality directly on the radio. It supports simultaneous poll and interrupt modes, providing flexible communication behavior for SCADA and telemetry systems.

Designed for utility and industrial environments, the radio provides secure data transmission through IP encryption and firewall protection. It integrates easily into existing systems via Ethernet, serial, and USB interfaces, and supports configurable frequency settings and programmable transmit power for deployment flexibility.

Operating across licensed spectrum bands including 400 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, and 900 MHz, it is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations. With low power consumption, high reliability, and a flexible architecture, it is optimized for modern SCADA, telemetry, and industrial IoT networks.
