Ubiik Announces FCC Certification of Dual-SIM, Wi-Fi-capable Pyxis LTE Router for Band 54
Phoenix, AZ – December 17, 2025
Ubiik, a leader in private LTE (pLTE) solutions for utilities and industrial IoT, today announced the FCC certification of the Pyxis Duo RB701, a Wi-Fi-capable LTE router certified for 3GPP Band 54 operation in North America.
The Pyxis Duo RB701 is designed to support high-performance private LTE deployments for utility and critical infrastructure applications. It incorporates a Cat-4 LTE modem for Band 54 (1670–1675 MHz), delivering the throughput and low latency required for applications such as video surveillance, low-latency SCADA, and advanced grid communications.
The router features two physical SIM slots, enabling automatic failover between private and public networks to enhance resilience for mission-critical operations. Integrated Wi-Fi allows utilities to create local wireless connectivity for devices such as sensors, cameras, laptops, or handheld tools, simplifying field deployments and maintenance.
