Vice President of Digital Communications
Zhuo currently leads Ubiik’s digital communications technology development. She has more than 20 years of experience in algorithm design and ASIC/FPGA implementation for digital signal processing and digital communication applications. Zhuo is among the earliest of Ubiik’s team members. She took the role of VP of R&D for the first two years of the Company’s history. During this time, she led the Ubiik technical team and transformed a 90-page specification for Weightless™ technologies into a commercial product. After taking the company to its milestone of winning Ubiik’s first AMI contract with the Taiwan Power Company, she moved back to the US in 2018. She has rejoined Ubiik in 2021 to help advance and adapt a new generation of wireless technologies towards LPWAN applications.
Her prior experiences cover HDSL-2, Gigabit Ethernet, optical & broadcast technologies as well as other proprietary wireless and 5G modem technologies.
She has won over ten US patents for various signal processing algorithms and modem and timing solution implementations. Her prior employers include Silicon Laboratories, Richwave Technology and MaxLinear.
Zhuo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University in Beijing, and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
