This article briefly covers a young company’s success in deploying Taiwan’s national grid Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI). Ubiik, a start-up based in Taiwan completed deployment of 63,000+ smart meters connectivity infrastructure and backend systems for the Taiwan Power Company (TPC) to support a 2018 contract.

Forecasting of solar power generation using real-time  meteorological information

This article provides an overview of Ubiik’s solution for the prediction of solar PV generation capacity in Taiwan. Such a solution consists of a back-end data management and communication infrastructure, a meteorological data
pre-processing system, a machine learning system, a post-processing system, and a visualization system.
